Leviticus— the book many Christians dread during their Bible reading plan. We push this book to the bottom of our favorites and give up on trying to understand it. My goal is to show why that would be a tragic mistake.
Baptism is not what justifies me or makes me right in the eyes of God. Rather, it symbolized my union with Christ in his death, burial, and resurrection. This symbol is incredibly significant to understand in order that our lives might exemplify the newness of life it proclaims.
This fervent desire present throughout Psalm 119 is a beautiful model for Christians to be wholehearted in their faith by loving God’s Word so deeply that it will shape every aspect of their lives.
Christ’s resurrection is significant because his defeat of sin and death is a reminder of what God will one day do for us and all of creation who are in Christ Jesus.
